Exporting legacy files

Hi all,

I have a number of legacy files (DOC, XLS, and DWG) that were migrated from Intralink 3.4 to Intralink 9.1. Recently there has been a number of requests to export one of these files as we maintain these in an external PLM system and occasionally an old file is required/missing. I don’t see any way to export, save as, or save a copy to anything other than the Windchill database. Am I missing something?

Thanks to Mike, Gerry, and Ben for your help.

For whatever reason I don’t have Download Primary content on the Objects actions menu but there is an additional method that worked. In the Object information window under the General tab, In the Content Table you can select the download icon, next to the filename, and that will perform the same function.

One further update on this;

DWG files require the solution I previously described in my previous post, but other Non-CAD documents (DOCs etc) do have a Download Primary File selection in the Actions menu. I was working Primarily with legacy DWG files and did not know this was an option for other Non-CAD types.
