External principal Self-registration in WC 9.1

Good Morning all,

I want to register an external user to my brand new WC 9.1 install. When I try to use self-registration i get:

Self registration has not been configured for this site.

Please contact the administrator or person who invited you to a project for registration instructions.

I checked through the history of this topic and the thread dead-ended in 2008 with failure and defeat. Has anyone been able to actually get this feature to work?

Hi Robert,

check this properties in wt.properties:

com.ptc.netmarkets.register.properties=$(wt.home)/conf/register/reg.properties
com.ptc.netmarkets.register.registrationURL=$(wt.server.codebase)/netmarkets/register/register.jsp
wt.projmgmt.admin.registrationURL=$(wt.server.codebase)/netmarkets/jsp/register/register.jsp

You have to configure $(wt.home)/conf/register/reg.properties with your LDAP and SMTP settings
