Family Table Issue

I have a family table that cannot be checked back into Commonspace after
changes are made to it. I have checked out the part and all instances and
tried just modifying a parameter or adding an instance and in each case
will not check in. Of course I get an error message that says to check the
error log which I cannot find. Has anyone had this happen and do you have
a workaround? I am using Intralink 3.3 M021 and WF2 M171.

Thank you for everyone's help. The culprit was lack of space in the index
table in Oracle. I increased the size and the problem FT part can be
checked in which leads me to another question. If I purge Intralink
regularly does this operation also clean up indexes in Intralink?
