Fatal Error message

Hi,

I try to rename or open some assemblies on Windchill and gives me a fatal error message.

What could be the reason??

Is the error message coming from Windchill or from the CAD client? What is the text of the error message? Is there a corresponding error message written to the Method Server log?

Hello Chris,

I understand what is the cause of the problem so I solved.

Essentially I was wrong to charge the family table with their instances

consequently it made me crash the program.

Can you advice how to fix this issue bellow.

The massage shown as ,

"Fetal Error Encountered.A trace back has been written to E:/PTC/creoUser ----traceback.log"

Hi Duminda,

1. Close Proe-E

2. Rename .wf folder from C:\Users\1034865\AppData\Roaming\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, with other name.

     For Windows7 PC : C:\Users\1034865\AppData\Roaming\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf

     For Windows XP PC C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf

3. Start the Pro-E

4. Afterwards you can delete renamed .wf folder.

.wf folder :- user workspace cache location

Try this.....
