How do I implement our existing 3.4 folder permissions structure in Windchill 9 (Intralink)?

Gang,

I sent an email to PTC Tech Support to ask how to configure the Policy
Admin and/or folder settings to do the following access control scheme,
which we have used with Intralink 3.4 for years.

Sample structure in 3.4:

FNET (located in Root Folder)
zappa (project folder--contents are ProE files modifiable ONLY
by Designers group)
fixtures (more ProE files, modifiable by ProdEng group)
molds (more ProE files, modifiable by MechDevt group)
mirror (project folder)
fixtures
molds
wolverine (project folder)
fixtures
molds

Here's my current situation with trying to do this in Intralink 9.0:

1. Right now, the Designers group can change ProE files in any folder in
the FNET structure, (which has been implemented as a Product in
Windchill).

2. If I set up the MechDevt and ProdEng groups with the rights needed to
modify their own ProE files, it would seem that they would be able to
change ProE files in the entire FNET product, which won't work for us.

How can I make this work with the folder structure that has been
migrated over from 3.4?
