So I had a question from one of our businesses to find out from others how do they handle a change that requires changes to tooling, say a cavity or a die? Note that we also don't manufacture the parts, we have a contract manufacturer that will make the necessary changes to the tooling. After they make the changes in the tooling to accomodate the changes in the ECN their needs to be verification that the parts are correct, possibly some other testing etc...
Is all of this handled in your Change Process? Do you use the OOTB ECR/ECN process or did you modify it or create a new process to handle this additional verification.
