How is Publishing & Watermarking in 10.2.M020 ?

Hi All,

In our experience with Publishing and Watermarking with Windchill 9.1,

• Publishing works around 60-70% of the time. This casues significant delays as watermarking can only happen after publishing.
• Sometimes PDF is not watermarked so it should not be visible to open from the search result.
• User must go through multiple steps/clicks to open the properties page of the document, then launch CreoView and wait for a visual representation of the PDF to be published with watermark applied.
• The cycle time to get watermarked documents for large design document sets is very high
• Users are faced with significant delays having to go through the above process to get a single watermarked document.

We are setting up a project to Upgrade from 9.1 to 10.2 M020, I was looking for comments on Publishing/Watermarking improvements. How Systems/Adminstrators/users are experienceing with new release.

Are there any other tools for publishing and watermarking in use other then PTC Creo View Adapter for PDF,Creo View PDF & Creo View PDF Watermaker Review.

Our goal is to improve our publishing success rate to close 100%. Possibiliy

Have you identified why 30% - 40% of your publishing jobs are failing? We virtually never have one fail....

It would certainly be helpful to know why so many jobs are failing to publish.
