Version: Windchill 13.0
Use Case: How to add Windchill Attributes present on EPMDcoumet to Drawing's Title Block
Description:
Hi All,
I have a requirement to publish the Windchill Attributes which are present on EPMdocument, need to be placed inside the Title Block.
I have two attributes, Attribute_A & Attribute_B on EPMdocument, need to place this two attributes on Title Block, so when drawing is published, this updated values must be present in Drawing's Title block, so same will be present in generated PDF of drawing.
Any input is helpful for us.
Thanks,
Vivek
Hi @VU_10827294,
There are multiple ways to achieve this.
Could you please clarify your requirement? Do you need the attribute values to be displayed in the Creo view representation, or is showing them only in the PDF sufficient?
Hello, Thanks for your response.
Here is the my requirement,
I have two Global attributes on Drawing i.e. Reviewed_By & Reviewed_Date.
I want this two attributes inside the Title block in highlighted area in below image. when user published this Drawing, it will be present on generated PDF. (this is my assumption).ultimately we want this two attributes on generated PDF as well on Drawing template title block.
Thanks and regards,
Vivek
Hi @VU_10827294,
Do you have any information about your current setup and how it is configured?
Also, can you confirm whether the AEM worker is configured?
Hi,
We are using Windchill+ Visualization services (VCS) for publishing, so no visibility on CAD Worker configuration side, as this is managed by PTC. we are looking for something can we do at Drawing template level by Attribute Mapping with CAD Parameters level, as we can modify this things in Windchill+ environment.
No AEM worker in our system.
Thanks,
Vivek
