Follow few simple steps to opt into Windchill Performance Advisor.
- Login to Windchill as Site administrator and navigate to Site > Utilities > Performance Advisor for PTC Windchill
- In Performance Advisor for PTC Windchill window, enter SCN (Service Contract Number) and ptc.com credentials and click Validate SCN.
- If you don’t know your SCN, simply enter your ptc.com credentials, select Validate SCN, to get a list of valid SCNs, and choose one to enter it in the SCN field.
- Select Apply SCN to save your changes
- On the Settings tab, click Yes, I want to send data to PTC, and Click Save Settings to save the changes made to the Settings.
If you are running in an environment where the Windchill server cannot make outbound calls, refer to Performance Advisor Agent Quick Start Guide to use the Performance Advisor agent to transport data to PTC.
