How to filter as-stored whereused and References in Windchill 12.1

Version: Windchill 12.1

Use Case: I am trying to see what are the as-stored reference items & where used items for a particular model/dwg. I don't see any filter to be applied in related objects page. Is there a way to see this in Windchill UI?

Hi,

In windchill UI, for the CAD Assembly, you could use the config spec filter and choose "As Stored". This will filter the structure as per the structure configuration that will be a snapshot of it when the assembly was checked in.

Thanks

Hari

Thanks for the response. But I am looking the same filter in the 'Related objects' tab to see where used items and reference objects in as stored configuration.

Hi,

The related objects always displays the Master to Master link and thus always resolves to the latest versions of the objects in which your object is used as child.

However, if you need to use that "As-stored" filter in each of the referenced assemblies, then you need to go to that assembly and perform the config filter.

Hope Iam clear.

Best Regards

Hari
