How to track which revision was sent to whom and when

A couple departments from my company is questioning if we are able to track a specific revision that was sent to whom and when that revision was sent. Is that possible to do in Windchill?
(Currently running windchill 12.0)

Security Audit Reporting but they need to be enabled. There is something to be considered when doing this. You can log some or all events but it needs to be monitored since this gets stored in the database which grows over time.

There are two ways based on who you mean by whom. (I sound like I am redefining what the word "is" is):

  • Security Audit logs can show who in the system downloaded what version of what object when, assuming you are looking to track the activities of the Windchill user who send the data.
  • The other way is a bit more formal, is to use packages and deliveries.

Here is where a user can collect data into a formal package down to the iteration level and log any deliveries to an outside source, This can show I specifically send this list of objects and files to say a customer or a supplier.

Where do I access Security Audit Logs?

My Process:

Browse > Site > Utilities > (Under Auditing Administration) I am only able to view 'Security Audit Report Queries' as well as 'Security Audit Reporting'

Same with:

Browse > Organization > Utilities > 'Security Audit Report Queries' as well as 'Security Audit Reporting'

No sign of Security Audit Logs.
