I think I am in the same boat. If we are talking CPS update, you should be able to run ThingWorx when Windchill CPS is finished applying. I think you are referring more to a version change, right? I am running the standard upgrade to a new target system off to the side so production should remain operational until my final upgrade date. My assumption has been that ThingWorx needs the same approach, to install a new version of Thingworx on a new target linked to my new target. Our custom apps will be copied over along with user accounts and groups. Worse case, we might have to re-enter users and groups again. Does this describe your situation?
