The procedure is very simple : you start <loadpoint>\bin\proe_borrow.bat. You enter the number of days you want to borrow a license, and there it is available for your workstation, off-line. There is a maximum of days you can enter (5 to 9), you can return licenses earlier, there is no procedure to check-in at the end ...

My company just purchased a few laptop workstations for use by our engineers when traveling. Because we use FlexLM, I know that we will have to use License Borrowing for these systems when they are not connected to the network.
I have already received the new license pack and am going to upload the new license tonight. However, I am not all that familiar with how License Borrowing works. Or more specifically, the procedure for checking in & out licenses. Can someone provide any information? I tried the PTC website, but came up empty.
Ideally I would like for the option of borrowing a license to available only to laptop users. As I don't want my desktop users to lock a license when it is not in use. Is this possible?
Also, Is it possible for me (as the admin) to "recall" or bring back a license that has been checked-out?
