Import of "Option rules" data for configurable parts

Hello!

We evaluate Windchill 9.1 and try to import BOM by "Import from spreadsheet". How can we import "Option Rules" data for configurable parts?

Thanks in advance,
Dmitry

Check PTC documentation -export/import/load. But I doubt that you can
import options for configurable parts. By the way why have you decided
to use Configurable Parts?

Thanks,
D

We're trying to use configurable parts for variant vehicle bom management. But it seems that mission is impossible. Anyway thank you for response. WBR, Dmitry

Hi,

In you Windchill installation there are Excel templates for import of
parts, BOM and AXL located under \Windchill\codebase\examples\xls

I guess "Quantity Option" and "Inclusion Option" in the BOM example
template is what you are looking for.

Best regards,

Thank you for your response. As I understand this columns are usefull for "Advanced configurable parts", not for "Configurable parts" in terms of WC 9.1. I'm trying to import "Option Rules" for "Configurable parts" (you can see it on the picture below). Anyway I'll try to use "Advanced configurable part's" import too.
