Increase the WTPart Name size

Hi everybody!

The Part name in the ERP software allows up to 80 characters, butWindchillallows only 60 chars.

I need to increase the size of this attribute, but it's blocked in the Type and Attribute Management.

How can I configure this attribute to receive80 characters?

Hi again!

Correcting my last statement, I had success changing the Part namesizein my "test environment".

When I tryed to implement it in my "production environment", it didn't work.

The difference between them, I think, is that in the production server I already had the properties file created and the ant command executed before this procedure.

Does anyone have an idea of what can I do?

Hi everybody!

After a time of absence, I need to return to this issue.

I've found the WTPartMaster table and I can edit the limit for the name field, but I still have some doubts:

As I couldn't change this using the proper command, what are the impacts of changing the size directly in SQL Management Studio?

Is this table the only one I need to edit?
