Intralink 3.4 FileServer under Windows x64

Has any run the Intralink 3.4 FileServer on Windows 2003 Server x64?

Officially, PTC says that they do not support the Intralink 3.x DataServer or FileServer running under a 64-bit Windows.
I suspect that it works, but PTC doesn't want to bother with it.

Our current DataServer and FileServer run on a single SUN-Solaris server.
The FileServer vaults actually reside on a separate NAS filer, which is accessed by an NFS share, making the vaults appear local.
The network hop is short, but NFS is not known for great performance.

We would like to install the FileServer on a new NAS, which will be running Windows 2003 Server x64.

Even if this works, it brings about a second concern:
The DataServer won't be changed (still UNIX).
As I understand it, the Intralink client communicates directly to the DataServer for check-in/out.
Therefore, the DataServer should not be a bottleneck.
Is this correct?

The short answer is: It works.
The file server installs and works the same under x64 as it does under x32.
No special considerations are required.

Several people replied with advice.
However, none were from actual experience.

We decided to give it a try.
First, we tried it on a test x64 machine, which worked fine.
So we went ahead and deployed to production.
We even moved our vaults and all is working well.
