Intralink 9.1 M060 Oracle install failure

All,

Has anybody running Intralink 9.1 M060 been able to successfully perform the Oracle portion of the install recently?

This is a crucial step in order to perform a restore from backup or rehost.

This used to work but now the install fails at the step when the installer attempts to register with Oracle over the internet.

As a test we did the following:

· Install the Windows 2008 server OS (service pack 2) on a virgin machine

· Directly connect to the internet - We are not behind any of our corporate IT department's security systems

· Turn off Windows firewall

· Enable telnet and verify that this telnet command doesn't fail:

o telnet ccr.oracle.com 443

· Copy in the following install media:

o CD-2200B-108_2009000_Oracle_11g

o CD-60419-091_M060_3rd_Pty_Sfw

o CD-60492-091_M060_Oracle_Sfw_Asst

o CD-60703-091_M060_Java_Dev_Kit

o CD-60800-091_M060_Dir_Server

o CD-60702-091_M060_Soln_Instlr

· Run C:\CD-60702-091_M060_Soln_Instlr\setup.vbs

o Installer selections are all defaults unless noted here:

o Advanced

o √Standalone Product or Component

o √Java, √WindchillDS, √Pro/INTRALINK Oracle (osa), √Oracle Configuration

o Leave these two preselected: √Create Database, √Create Windchill Database and User Account

o Oracle 'SYSTEM' Account Password: xxxxxxx

o Oracle User Name for Windchill: wcoracle

o Oracle User Password for Windchill: xxxxxxx

o LDAP Server Administrator Password: xxxxxxx

o √Use Staging Area

o Install

· The install fails with the following written into this log file:

C:\ptc\Windchill_9.1\osa\oraprod\cfgtoollogs\opatch\opatch<date stamp=">.log

I'm starting to think that the installer attempts to communicate with the Oracle internet site in a way that no longer works due to some change at Oracle.

Thanks,
