I'm still using WF4 because Creo is so much slower and more frustrating (but I digress........). So, sometimes it's difficult to get assemblies to come up in WF4 because someone has (unfortunately) played with a file in Creo and now the assembly won't load correctly in Pro/E. So, I have to sort through version of the files to get and add to workspace the last WF4 version, which is VERY tedious. I tried the "Authoring Application" column, but it's worthless for that and, regardless of what version the files were last modified in (some of ours are WF2 or older), it just says "Creo". Useless and very maddening. Considering that this is not in any way a unique problem (tons of people have old legacy files), the seeming lack of an ability to easily determine the version of a file is a huge gaffe.
Any ideas?
Grazie!
