We would like the "Last Modified" date to show the date the lifecycle state changed from perhaps a promotion or ECN. It appears that the "Last Modified" just shows the last time the content was updated not the metadate, the lifecycle state in particluar.
I guess you can write an event rule to listen the "SET STATE" action and you get the today's date in the event rule and set that value to the "Last modified Date" attribute.
