Looking for cheapest way Export all WTDocuments from Windchill 8.0 System

We're in the process of merging an 8.0 database to a 9.1 database and while we have a likely solution for our EPMDocument transfer needs (software factory) we are trying to find out if the community can offer up something free or free advice on how to get all of our WTDocuments content out of the system without having to manually save each one out.

If the volume of Docs is reasonable, I think you can use the import/export tool:

-export from 8

-adapt the xml files to 9

-import in 9

I think you can also by SQL (if the document files are not in DB BLOBs , but in extarnal vaults),

create a csv file (in 9.1 format) to load your documents in 9.1 with the out of the box loader

Similar has been asked many, many times. Only ways that I know are:

1. Export function - works pretty well - just have immerse yourself in the UI and Help.

2. Temporarily create another document and create a document structure under it - this allows exporting all in the structure at once.
