Hi all,
We recently updated Windchill to CPS26 and not it seems DTI has an issue while checking out Excel and PPT files. For Work it works fine. We are using Microsoft Office Professional plus 2016.
Did anyone have this issues until now?

PTC Provided in this case a Workaround until the problem is actually fixed.

It assumes unchecking the "Promt for File Overwrite" and "Promt for Checkout and Checkin". As mentioned this issue happens only in case of Excel and Power Point Documents. For Word it works fine.
