Hi,
I got the following message when checking in my parts to Windchill 11:
Incoming attribute(s) MATERIAL ignored as they are not part of type definition.
In Creo this is a designated parameter using the material.mtl file...
I went to type and attribute management>Manage Reusable Attributes... and created the attribute.
Now the message is gone.
Another thing I did is adding this attribute to my CAD Document.
>> All info above I have found here in the community...
However, If I now want to generate multilevel reports from assemblies the Material column is empty?
I made a customized Structure View where that attribute is showing... but no materials to be seen from my parts
What am I doing wrong? The attribute is created and added to my CAD documents but it is not reading it's content from CREO/the mtl file?
Also, only working with CAD documents, no parts (as I don't know how to create them when a CAD document is created)
Please help!
It's working!
Uploaded CAD documents from before the attributes were created have empty attributes in Windchill...
But new ones nicely take over the parameters from my parts
Hey,
If you did as you mentioned, it should be.
Is the designate checked in the material section of the parameters section?
