If it does start with the below change then that confirms that there is a
connection issue between your Windchill and the AD server. It could be
something blocking the connection or a bad username/password combination.
It could also be a certificate issue if the LDAP server uses LDAPS. If the
below change does not help, then there can be a connection issue between
Windchill and WindchillDS.
What I suggest, and this is what I use, is to download Apache Directory
Studio and see if you can login to the AD system through there. You can
also confirm that all the configurations are properly set in the JNDI
adapter. If you can connect with the same information you have in
Windchill, then there may be a bigger problem that needs to be found. It is
my experience that the issue is normally related to a Username\Password
mismatch or a DNS or Port Blocking issue.
One other thing you could try to overcome a possible DNS issue is to add
the AD server IP and Hostname to the Windchill server Host file.
