All you need to do is change the authoring application to UG and tailor any additional rules you need.

In NX, all file types use the .prt extension, unlike Creo, which uses separate extensions such as .asm, .prt, and .drw for assemblies, parts, and drawings.
Because of this, how can we apply automatic conversion rules in NX?
Could you please share some tips or guidance on how to handle this?

I am familiar with that. I am assuming you have separate .prt files that represent just drawings separate from normal 3D geometry? How were they configured via the WGM? The CAD Documents might have been tagged differently to appear as a drawing vs CAD Part in that case.
