Need to compare old iteration sub assembly (Production) with New iteration Subassembly (under change

Version: Windchill 13.0

 

Use Case: old iteration sub-assembly having the same latest revision of components as in the latest subassembly. * the components in the subassembly not released for very long time


Description:

Old iteration sub-assembly having the same latest revision of components as in the latest subassembly.

* the components in the subassembly not been released for a very long time

 

why I am seeing the latest components' iteration in the old sub assembly?

Its based on the default configuration specification which is latest. You can bring down a specific iteration of an assembly with latest of the components. If you want to see it like it was, you need to choose "as-stored" when you download it.
