Need to recover uploaded files after clearing cache.

I have a co-worker who deleted the items in his workspace & cleared his cache. Unfortunately, he deleted everything before checking-in! He uploaded the files before he deleted anything, butwe have no idea how to recover these files. Sincethe cache is cleared, there are no sid files on his local drive.How do we recover the uploaded data?

Hi John,

They are in the vault however finding them might be difficult. If you know the date and time they were uploaded it will narrow your search.

In the vault start opening files with a text editor and you'll see that the info in the header of Pro/E files contains what you'll need to identify them. You probably could narrow it further by identifying vault files that are unreferenced and only looking at them.

Once you find them give them the correct filename and extension and then you can open them in Pro/E.
