Not collect Format.frm when using Collector

Anyone knows how to change the preferences so that in 10.1 the collector from Revise does not include Format objects that are referenced from a Drawing (EPMDocument)?

Related to that, anyone knows how to see Format in the Policy Admin?

As it is now, my CAD authors can modify / revise all CAD objects but not the Format for the CAD drawing. We do not want to revise it along with other related CAD objects.

I don’t see to be able to see a preference that will not include it on the collector and as the authors do not have access to modify it they cannot remove it from the collector.

You can use the second preference in the collector category and set it to None(Preference Manager > Revise >Collector > Include dependent CAD/Dynamic Documents). However, this will also exclude collection of any part of assembly related to the drawing.

OR you can try putting the drawing formats in a library and provide only read and download access to users.In this way even if the collector collects the format, the format doesn’t get changed owing to no revise permissions.
