Of a sudden, my Windchill sports dates in European mode. How change it back to U.S. date format?

Hey all,

Sometime last quarter, my Windchill (11.0 M030-CPS02) started showing dates in the European format of dd/mm/yy.  This is very confusing as 03/07/2018 led us to believe a file was Checked-In on March 7th, but it wasn't.  It was July 3rd.

What could have changed that ('cause I know I didn't and I'm the only Bus-Admin here)?

More importantly, how do I change it back!!  I could've sworn it was never like this before!

please help...

Hi,

I would suggest to start with checking browser language settings and machine region settings. The display of date format changes with regional\language settings of user machine & browser. The browser settings can get updated with regular windows patches.

Example (Using different language settings):

English (United States)[en-US] - 2019-01-09 13:44 EDT (YYYY-MM-DD...)

English (United Kingdom)[en-GB] - 09/01/2019 13:49 EDT (DD-MM-YY ...)

It is possible that these date formats were changed as result of customization. However,I would rule out this for now.

Hope this helps.!
