We are on a multi-year journey to update our business. We use Creo and Windchill PDMLink for basic uses. Modeling, drawings, document storage and change management. However, we have started a project to automate some of our process for our website by using Classification. We have a PTC authorized vendor helping us. They want to get us starting to using eBOM/mBOM/WTParts.
However, I want to ask if there is anyone out there reading this or that knows someone that has gone through this digital journey and if your or they are willing to talk to us. We want to get your point of view of any thing we should know, anything you found out you should not have done or glad you did do. Were there any lessons learned?
We can ask our partner company for references to talk to but we also want to get a point of view when not having our vendor on the call so we can be more open.
