Oracle 9i RAC with Windchill

As we are preparing for a production roll-out of PDMLink 7.0, I am considering
the possibility of using an Oracle cluster based on Oracle 9i RAC. I was just
wondering if anyone in the Windchill community had tried to use RAC with
Windchill and whether any problems had arisen that were a result of using a
cluster as opposed to a single machine.

I think still PTC is struggling to clear the grey area (Till 10.1 M50 version). It may create performance issue. The document stats that cluster ID can't be configured, instead one instance should be registered in application server.  So configure monolythic Oracle instance in application & configure/Prepare oracle accordingly.
