Hello Intralink Admin's, We are trying to add another 30 seats of Intralink (and ProE) to our existing setup. PTC says they have a new software bundle which separates the Pro/INTRALINK license from the Oracle license. They say they can knock off a chunk of money if we have an Oracle Enterprise License as described below. One Oracle license is required for each Pro/INTRALINK license owned. You can purchase additional Pro/INTRALINK licenses without Oracle and use them with the existing Pro/INTRALINK database provided that you have acquired Oracle Database Enterprise Edition licenses directly from Oracle. You cannot mix Enterprise Edition or Standard Edition licenses on the same server. Therefore, Oracle Standard Edition cannot be used for add-on seats unless you have adequate Oracle Standard Edition licensing to support all users and are using a Standard Edition installation of the dataserver. (what ever that is) Can anyone tell me what this means to us?
