PDF created from drawing in Windchill

To all the gurus.

I am trying to take advantage of the job handeling queue for visualization services so that a PDF may be created and saved outside of Windchill into a local folder. Any hints to where this can be configured?

Thanks

We have a solution, but PTC requires Info*Engine access for all users...not cost friendly.

Etrage LLC also has a solution, but it does not require the PTC Info*Engine.

Our solution does not require Info*Engine either, but PTC still requires a customer to own it if they are going to programmativally output PDF's to a file system.

This is not a requirement if the PDF's are checked back into PDMLink as secondary content/viewables.

Rick

Where is that requirement stated? Just curious, because we're looking
at doing something ourselves and don't want to violate any license
agreements.

Yes, where exactly does it state that PTC owns the rights to view and/or
reproduce the content that we created? It's absurd to think that we need
to purchase a license for each user that might read a PDF file containing
our proprietary information. A reasonable person would assume that a
license is only needed for users that actually log into PDMLink.

I don't thinkthere would be any licensing issuesif you were to create it as a customization....assuming you don't use info*engine as part of the customization.

PTC is justmanaging howpartners likeFishbowl and Etrage develop, market and sell "our" applications.
