Under the PTC support option I choose "Reference Documents"... then I change the Product to "Windchill ProjectLink" The Reported Release to "10.1"... then the Document Type to "Installation and Configuration" All User Roles.
My results
Maintenance Fixes
Windchill Content overview
Windchill Maintenance
Creo view Adapters
Wan Accelerators......
WHAT? Has anyone ever had any luck ... I get better results from Google... ???
Hello, Carl,
The PDFs displayed when you select attributes on the Reference Documents page is based on the attributes we (Windchill Publicationss) apply to those files when we upload them, and, in general, we err on the side of completeness. For example, someone installing an MOR may want to see the Content Overview for that release, the WAN accelerators document provides some information to consider when installing, and so on. I absolutely agree with you, though, that the resulting pages are hard to navigate.
The Technical Support group that owns the site is working on a total Support site redesign, and we're working with them to improve the usability of the Reference Documents page.
For this specific use case, what documentation would you have expected to see when you executed the search you described? Are there more attributes that would be useful in narrowing the search?
Thanks,
Jane

First thanks for the reply...
I was expecting a document that explains How to Install Windchill ProjectLink...
Carl,
I wanted to provide you with a direct link to the document, which you can find here. In looking for that link, I actually found an error: the Windchill Installation and Configuration Guide, which supports all Windchill solutions, isn't displayed when ProjectLink is selected as the Product. I'll be sure to have that fixed, and we'll continue to work with Tech Support to improve the pages overall.
Thanks,
Jane
Today I did a search for " Edit Find Numbers" in Windchill.
