We've all seen demos from PTC showing a ship with compressed 3d thumbnails in Product View. When you click on one of the subassy's it then loads the full detail Product View data.
What I'm missing is any documentation showing how to accomplish this. The ProductView Adapters Recipe Editor Quick Reference has very little useful information. The ProductView Adapters Installation and Configuration Guide seem equally devoid of information on setting up recipes to achieve this compression.
Has anyone set up your CAD worker, or Thumbnail worker to generate these compressed 3d thumbnails?
