Rename of several independent objects

Hello,

As a feedback from customers I am frequently asked why it is impossible to rename several independent objects in 1 action in Windchill PDMLink.

I know it is possible to use the collector to gather required dependent objects of an assembly and, thus, being able to rename several objects, but it is for now IMpossible to rename a bunch of objects that have no relationship to one another.

I know this is common functionality in Pro/INTRALINK 3.x, but not in Windchill unfortunately. In Windchill, it is only possible to rename ONE object at a time. Renaming several object can become a burden.

Anyone?

Add your objects to your workspace. Then select all of them and press Edit/Attributes

Thank you for the reply!

However, with the Edit Attributes function you cannot Rename objects.
