RepresentationHelper.service.getRepresentations(representable) Always returns zero query result.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.0.0

API QueryResult queryResult = RepresentationHelper.service.getRepresentations(representable) always returns empty queryresult , even if object contains Representations also.
