Version: Windchill 13.0
Use Case: My change activity workflow makes use of a "Complete Change Notice Task". In the "General" tab of this workflow task, I have assigned the "Change Admin I" role as the "Responsible Role". Under the "Participants" tab, I have specified user group "A" as the "Assignee". I have ensured the check box for "Required" next to this "Assignee" entry is checked. Under the "Execution Options" tab, I have ensured the check boxes for "Ignore unresolved role" and "Create task for Responsible Role if unresolved role is "Required"" are checked. I know that I have no users in user group "A". There are no users contained directly under the "Change Admin I" role in the application team. Instead, I have included user group "B" under this role. User group "B" does contain users. When I submit a change notice which generates a change task which make use of the change activity workflow, only one "Task" object is generated which is assigned to myself. I am a site administrator and a "Product Manager" so I have not added myself into any of the aforementioned user groups. When the user, who is a member of user group "B" logs into Windchill, they are not able to see the "Task" object in their workspace so that they can complete it.
Description:
I would like the system to recognize when there are no members contained in my user group "A" and then assign the task to users who I have included in my user group "B". Could anybody explain why the users who are a member of user group "B" are not seeing the "Task" object in their homepage despite user group "B" being assigned to the "Responsible Role"? And, why I am the only user to receive the single "Task" object generated from the change activity workflow?

Hi @BF_13811900,
Have you checked the context team under which the change task is created?

Hello @TDT
I checked the team template that was being used by the change task object and could see that it didn't feature my user group "B". I then added this user group "B" into the team template. This then resulted in change tasks being put into the home page of members of "Responsible Role". Thank you very much for your help!
