Revisioning scheme

How to start with higher revision from the beginning instead of starting with lower revision.

Ex:

Revisioning scheme: A.1 to higher version

but I want to start with D.1, D.2 & so on

And i am uploading all th eparts into windchill ,found some the parts are in revision E.

By default windchill starts with Revision A , dont want to every revise & increment step by step.

Is there any option to apply the revision directly ?

If you create FileBased Revision, you can directly load WTParts with its specific Version without starting from A.

What kind of data are you working with here? WTParts or CAD Documents? If you're working with CAD Docs you can upload the new CAD data from the workspace without checking in. After the data has been uploaded you can then select File > New > Revision and set the revision for the new cad data. In order to specify specific revisions make sure that the Revise > Override on Revise preference has been set to Yes in Preference Management.
