SQL 2005 with PDM Link 9.1

PTC documentation states that SQL 2005 is supported in M050+, however,

only if Windchill is on a Linux box. Does anyone know if the

configuration utility on the M050 software is Windows based (.exe)?

We've run into an issue that requires the purchase of additional

hardware and/or software licenses. Therefore we are trying to determine

the best path forward. We're trying to get this issue squared away

ASAP.

Thank you.

Footnote in the M050 matrix:

SQL Server is only supported with Windchill running on Windows prior
to M050. At M050, SQL Server is supported with Windchill running on
AIX and Linux.

To be clear, this means M050 supports SQL Server for Windchill running
on AIX and Linux /in addition to /the platform(s) supported prior to
that point.

Yeah SQL Server 2005 SP2+ has been supported way back into 9.0, let alone 9.1 M050
