Windchill users,
I am playing around with creating STEP files from our Pro/E models. When I create a STEP file and the Pro/E model is in a Windchill Workspace the STEP file is automatically attached to the EPMDocument in Windchill. I thought that was pretty cool.
Then I changed the Pro/E model checked it into Commonspace and the STEP file followed along with the new iteration. Now my Pro/E model and my STEP file are not the same. That is not cool.
I am looking for some documentation on this functionality, but am coming up short. Has anyone come across this yet?
