All, Thanks for the tips. Looks like we need to run locally on the Sunblades. Now we need to convince Admin to do so (they don't want to run locally because of the maintenance). I think I will try to run Ilink and Pro/E on my PC and ultimately on a laptop. This will give my group ability to plug into the conference room projectors for design reviews. I thought the setup would be a lot more complicated...no samba. Sounds like no changes required on server side either! It sounds slick so I will try it out!
Thanks a bunch..now my wheel mouse will work...it works in windows, not on Sunblade 2000!
We work in that here. Nothing special, load up a windows client and point to the dataserver. The only thing that must be done is the dataserver machine name has to be fully qualified. Other than that it is pretty much the same.
