I have a user that, when attached to a PDMLink server I don't control, is getting this error when using the simple search.
Server Exception: com.infoengine.util.IEException
Attribute TypeIdentifier is not valid for sorting:
Attribute TypeIdentifier.WCType.wt.fc.Persistable.MBA.member@WCTY
PE.wt.folder.FolderMembership.MBA.folder.WCTYPE.wt.folder.Folder
He used to be able to search using the simple search.
He can still search using the advanced search. I narrowed the search to Workgroupmanager CAD objects and further narrowed it to parameters in the ProE file. It took a long time but it did return results.
I think this is a problem on the server side, not the client. I'd like to be able to give the admins of that system some guidance as to what might be causing the problem.
