Our installation has several instances of soft typed documents where we soft typed wtdocument. Once you create the soft typed document, it will automatically show up in the document create drop down in the contexts where you allow wtdocument to be created. If you have access to a test system I suggest that you play with the new screens there. I believe the Windchill Business Administration classroom tranining manual provides a section that you can follow that teaches you how to use the screens. It's really not hard. Give it a try.
