I doubt this was an accident. It obviously has humorous side effects but
let say you wanted to know all tasks that were due tomorrow. Having
that in the drop down would be nice. However, I think the list is
common to all date drop downs.

Yes you are correct . this is a "common component" we use for all the date fields ..

But agree also we should be smarter about allowing "Tomorrow" for create and modified date ...
