Mystery solved:
The user had saved a favorite to his desktop that logs into the PDMLink
server. When he clicks that it will always log into the existing session of
PDMLink. Same thing would happen if you did a ctrl N to get a new window.
However if he opens I.E. from the menus, or from the icon in the quickstart
bar, then he can log in as a different user.
