Synchronizing CATIA Parameters & Windchill Attributes

Hi all,

Currently, we are working with PDMLink 10.1 M020 Workgroup Manager for CATIA V5 R19.

We have added few custom Parameters to CATPart and CATProduct.

We have also defined similar attributes in Windchill so that after the check-in, wtPart and EPMDocument will reflect these values.

So far, we have found it works only unidirectionally, from CATPart to EPMDocument/wtPart.

We are not able to modify attributes directly on EPMDocument.

Also, updated values from wtPart are not synchronized with attributes on EPMDocument.

If we update the attribute on wtPart in Windchill, and check-out the EPMDocument item to CATIA, it doesnt reflect the latest value in CATPart Parameter.

Does anyone know how to do this sychronization?

Hello

I haven't use the Catia V5 in Windchill 10 ...

but by default the synch is from CAD to WTPart, and for example, in ProE Worgroupmanager, we have to implement a customized class (described in the Windchill ProE guide) to be able to synch WTpart attribute in CAD ...

In 10, you're able to "reverse build" , in the WTPart to CAD comparator, and propagate modifications from WTPart structure to CAD structure ... try that ...
