Tabulated drawings and Family table association to WTParts

I have my own theories as how a tabulated drawing should be associated to WTParts of a family table, but I would like to get some idea of how other companies are dealing with this. Should the 1 tabulated drawing be associated to each WTPart instance of a family table or only to the generic?

If you have a tabulated drawing, that for instance just uses the generic as a model, when you look at the wtstructure of one of the instances you dont see the drawing included. One workaround is to add the various instances of the item as drawing models. This way any wtpart of an instance shows a relation to the drawing.
