The easiest way to copy text from any table

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.0.2
Is there any way to easily copy/paste text from any displayed table to the Windows clipboard. We have a promotion approver that handles houndreds of numbers a day. The click/drag/Ctrl+C option is just not handy enough.

berny,

Can you describe your use case?

The promoter copies the highlighted row and then what? Where is he pasting the text? In side or outside of Windchill?

The promotor is selecting the document number and pushes CTRL+C then paste this info in another application.
I was hoping there is a way a button (a single click) could copy that info.

He is a heavy Windchill user and each click saved could make a huge difference.

It sounds as if you could use a QueryBuilder report. Choose the fields you want, set the desired format, export to xlsx

Hi rleir
I will keep this as an option. The need for copy/paste is due some bug in the Creo viewer during printing.
If the printing problem is solved this need will disapear.
Thanks anyway for the suggestion.

Hi Marco
I will take a look to these, thanks.

another option is to look for a browser extension to handle tables. i had a really good one with IE for Windchill 11.1 but have not had to find a replacement now that we're using chrome on Windchill 12.0. check out the extension store for your favorite browser and i'm sure you'll find something that might do the trick..
