Are there any light-weight methods out there for enabling an adminstrative user to delete a non-latest iteration of a WTPart?
Background:
One of themore significantgotchas with the WTPart/EPMDocument associativityis the problem of delete. It is not uncommon for users to introduce CAD Docs into Commonspace which for one reason oranother should or must be removed atsome point. If theseCAD Docs have been associated with WTPartsthe delete operation ismore difficult. If those WTPart are used in a higher level assembly which must be preserved then you arereally stuck. One PTC customer I worked with in the past had a small customization (a simple link on an "Admin Utilities" page) which allowed an admin to delete a specific iteration of a given Version of a Part.Armed with thatcapability it was usually possible to delete the offendingCAD Doc.Unfortunately I do not know how that "special delete" was implemented.
If you are familiar with a customization like this, or some other means for deleting specific iterations it would be great to know the implementation details.
