Tooltip Popups

Does anyone know how to get rid of the popups that cover over the attribute boxes as you try to type in them?

Is there a setting in preferences to turn these off?

There are several discussions and ideas addressing this infuriating issue.

The answer is, no, you can't turn them off. No timeline as to when PTC will adress it.
